So tonight John and Rachel came over to Jenn's apartment to have dinner, and we watched Donnie Darko. John and I cuddled all night, and then he kissed me. Yay!!!! So happy day. I hope things go well. John is so sweet and I met him at a party at the beginning of the semester and apparently let him know that I was taken at the time but maybe next time we could get together. Well I guess we speak the truth in drunkeness. |

So I just spent the weekend with my best friend in the whole world Bob. We hung out watched movies and had a most wonderful time. He's at the airport now and it pains me to say goodbye. I know that at some point we'll see each other again, and hopefully it will be soon but whenever it is, it couldn't come soon enough. I LOVE YOU BOB!!!! And I will miss you so much. |

Saturday night I went to The Lizard Lounge. It was ok, the music wasn't really my type, all techno, and it was kinda a meat market, way to many half naked, if that, women, mostly pole dancing. It was too loud to talk and everyone was dressed the same because it was naughty school girl night. We went home around 3 or 4 in the morning, at which time Laura and her friend came over and spent the night and next day. Sunday night we went to The Church, which is the Lizard Lounge on Thursdays and Sundays. I was a little wary at first because of the night before and the fact that I would have to actually pay to get in this time. Laura helped pick out something to wear, including ripping up one of my old shirts so it would look better. Seth and Laura both did my make up, which I want to add Seth wears more than both Laura and I combined. While at the apartment I was worried about how I looked thinking, how will this fit in anywhere? But as we entered The Church, my look was right at home. I was a little scared at first, seeing all the strangely dressed people walking around, but almost immediately was drawn to a Rennesance clad man on the balcony. We hit it off talking about computers, D&D, and programming. We exchanged numbers and I'm awaiting his call though I'm nervous about going out with someone I don't know. Maybe we can go back to The Church again together. I want to thank Laura for the confidence boost, I would have never gone to something like this wearing something live that unless you had suggested it.

Ok so had my first drunken throw up experience last night. I NEVER want to drink that much EVER again. I'm sure Chris thought that was real attractive. Thanks to Laura and Chris for taking care of me, you guys are the best. My discovery of the day: Always eat before drinking. |

Man did I get one of Bob's friends mad at me. At the drunken party, JT and I made out and apparently Amanda and JT once dated, and all 3 of us were in one bed and JT snuggled with me and not here, for obvious reasons, I mean they split up for a reason, right? So yesterday, Bob tells me Amanda is pissed at me because "I stole her man", and "JT was hers", and "I had no right". Well I don't understand that because, they split up and I had no idea they had even dated until yesterday. So we went to Dennys last night with Amanda, Cari Anne and Bob and all Amanda could do all night is give me evil stares, and when we talked about the party, she acted like I wasn't even at the party. That was the most uncomfortable 45 minutes I have spent in a long time. I hope I don't have to see Amanda again before I leave. I don't think I did anything wrong, but she sure seems to think I did. |

Last night I drunk Missouri style. Smirnoffs, screwdrivers, belly shots, and tequila shots. Man that tequila is the worst thing I have ever tasted,I almost threw it up. My friend I'm here visiting and his friend Holly are the lightest weights I have ever seen, I thought I was a light weight. And yes even more than you Thomas. Holly had a belly shot of vodka, and a smirnoff and was half way drunk, then they forced another smirnoff in here and she could hardly walk. Bob was about the same, except he had a very, very, very weak screwdriver and they both threw it up. I couldn't believe them! Amanda and JT, two more of Bob's friends were also there and they could actually hold their liquor. With 2 smirnoffs a heavy screwdriver, tequila, and belly shots it affected me enough I could feel it when I was walking, but note I was walking, so I was nowhere near Bob and Holly. But I have found out, it is now proven, that I am a horny drunk, so I need to watch myself. But, it wasn't close to our parties in Dallas, with a quarter the amount of liquor and half as much people, we didn't even finish it, mostly just the tequila, and people were falling out of chairs and throwing up. So, in conclusion, these Missourians have lightweight parties in which a little alcohol goes a long, long way, but they seem to enjoy it so I'll let them be. Until, of course, Bob comes to Dallas and we show him how to really party. |

So, my first night in St Peters, MO was an eye opener. I think the percentage of white people is around 98. I'm so used to Dallas and now UTD where its around 40-50%. We went midnight bowling and 60% of the music was rap! What a nightmare! Wow Bob has changed so much, he was actually enjoying the music, which he would never have done 2 years ago. He told me all his friends liked me, but I felt left out a little because first of all I was the only person there who didn't smoke and second I believe I was the heaviest person there. Tomorrow we're all going to the mall to hang out, I think I'm going to get some cool earrings or hair dye spray so that I can fit in a little more with his group, Bob's paying for all of this of course, Happy Late Birthday to Me! |

Why do I set myself up for failure? Why do I continously flirt with Thomas when I know that I'm not going to get anything bad and it just makes things akward. I have promised myself every morning that I am not going to do it again, but everytime I spend more than 10 minutes around Thomas, or Thomas and Sus3an I break my promise. |

Friday night was a weird experience for me. I got very drunk and made out with Thomas, alot... It was wonderful, except now I have to except that he really like Sus3an. I hate it. This it the hardest part for me. It is really hard for me to except that Friday meant nothing to him, even though it meant so much to me. Its not very fair that when I finally get this confidence boost that someone might like me, I get to fall even harder. I feel even worse now than I did before. Now I get to deal with the fact that I get to be someone's drunken, depressed last resort. I at least had hopes to be a drunken first or at least next to last choice. Now I want to get drunk to make this depression go away, and at least if I could find a party where I am the only single girl there I might have a fraction of a chance with someone depending on how drunk everyone else is.Well that was my weekend. I hope to be able to laugh my way through the rest of forever. |
